Nice and capable staff for Covid 19 test. Very busy, so a bit of a wait for callbacks and when at site, and needed to call at site to get staff to come to car. Signed up for antibody test beforehand but not available when I got there. I am glad because the test is up to $200, depending on how much insurance covers. Call insurance first for sure.

Seen for respiratory issue- thorough work up by HE NP. She was very knowledgeable and attentive.  Told me to f/u with my pulmonologist if symptoms worsen and told me how to use the medication she sent to pharmacy.  Worth the 15 min drive and 10/10 care here.  Highly recommended urgent care.

I am always appreciative of the connivence this office offers.   Today I had a gentleman doctor and I thought although very upbeat and friendly, I was uncomfortable with the religious questions.  I personally believe there is a time and place, at this appointment was not it.  One, I didn’t feel well and the appointment should have stayed about that.  Two, he is  unaware of my circumstances and that was not the place.  I heard how he had converted, he asked me if I did, and it was very uncomfortable because again he had no idea of my circumstances A suggestion to possibly keep the appointment chatter on a lighter note. People coming in don’t feel well to begin with, any kind of heavy conversation may lead to some awkwardness (and it absolutely did).   Faith, and religion should be off the table for light conversation   Thank you.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the virus, has engaged in high-risk behaviors such as sharing needles or unprotected sex, or has chronic liver disease should get tested for hepatitis. Additionally, those born to a hepatitis-infected mother, or individuals born between 1945 and 1965, a demographic with a higher incidence rate, should also consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it enables early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the Mayo Clinic, undiagnosed and untreated hepatitis can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death. Moreover, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.
