I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

Getting Tested for STDs in Skokie, IL

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially those with multiple sexual partners, those who have had unprotected sex, or those who have been notified by a partner about a recent STD diagnosis. According to the CDC, individuals between the ages of 15 and 25, who account for half of the 20 million new STD cases each year, should particularly consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any signs or symptoms.
