I think the medical team was apprehensive with my requesting STD/STI testing, which I stated (along with a sore throat) in my original request for scheduling the appointment. I was the first patient to be seen that morning, so while I waited in room 1 after my vitals were collected by a staff person, I overheard the staff person and urgent care provider talking about my testing requests. When the provider came in, the provider first asked "what's going on?" before and without introducing the provider's name or title. After explaining to the doctor what I already explained to the staff member, the doctor tried to distinguish between which tests (throat swab vs a blood test) that I needed. Initially, I went with just the swab, but then I restated to the my wanting STD/STI testing by blood test when the staff person returned for collecting the swab. I was less concerned about cost, and more concerned about my health and receiving thorough medical information. The staff person, who was kind throughout, ultimately drew my blood for testing. Only when I was back in the front waiting area and about to leave, the doctor asked to speak again with me. The doctor did suggest a prescription at that point, after we discussed by the reception desk (behind the partition to the lobby and reception desk) a potential treatment while I wait about a week for the swab and blood test results on STDs and STIs. Ultimately, I think the team, at an urgent care medical office in a NYC neighborhood, needs to be less apprehensive about STDs and STIs, especially when a patient may, despite the patient's own worry, wants to (1) be cautious, (2) learn the patient's status as complete as practicable, and (3) make informed and prompt health decisions.

We made an appointment for 9:45 a.m. And did not get called back till 10:30. This is especially tough with a toddler. The staff was friendly. However, I still did not receive the results for my son 's covid, flu, RSV testing and it's been 3 days. I do not see the point of testing for these illnesses if you are not going to call back with a result. I tried looking online and there is no record of the test. I also called and was told I would get a call back and never received it. Now I got to call again to find out what the results are.

Had to come in for a time sensitive issue. Dr. Gabriel was fantastic, helpful, and professional. Office was clean and functional. I was out in 30 minutes! Highly recommend!

Staff is great, not long waiting period at all. But, the physician assistant is a terrible listener and has no idea of what she's doing. Maybe she was overwhelmed. We all have bad days but, she's suspect.

My husband had a sore on his leg that wasn’t healing,and Rose gave him an antibiotic cream & antibiotic to take orally. Hopefully that will help.

I had not been prescribed the antibiotics I needed in two visits to Summit and, as a result, was suffering through day six, repeat six! of a horrible upper respiratory tract infection that had me bedridden and getting worse. You gave me a rx for amox and now 24 hrs later I am vastly improved up and about. Thank you! It is not a coincidence- it is not that a virus ran its course - I was getting worse not better until you've me the rx.

Woke you not feeling well, made an appointment for this office everything was fast, the office was clean and I was able to get all I needed from my visit. Great staff and doctors

Woke up with a sore throat, walked in to AFC in the afternoon and had to fill out information on the phone once there to get to see the doctor. Luckily there was one appointment on front, waited 10 minutes and got to see the assistant to take Covid and Strep test then doctor came in to do the check up. End up with a Strep, in-n-out in 30 minutes. Suggest to make an appointment online ahead of time which I didn't.

Very competent staff . Answered all my questions without hesitation. Will definitely return on my next trip from Canada
