Lab testing
Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

Lab testing
I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Wait time was a little longer than expected, but not too bad, considering I had no appointment and was my first visit. Even the nurses here seem to be extremely knowledgable. Masks required and see spray cleaner used very often. I feel comfortable coming here during these times and am pleased with the quality of care. They provide PCR tests for coronavirus btw. Got result (negative, phew) in two days through online portal access they email you.

Recent Blood Test Reviews (20)

The three lady’s (did not get names) who helped me get a recliner and took my blood, they were so great and understood everything I needed. They were quick and efficient in sticking me once to get my blood needed.

I knew I had a bladder infection, since I had the same symptoms about 2 years ago. They took a urine sample, took my blood pressure, asked me some medical questions, and sent out for my prescription. Service was excellent, and staff were courteous.

- Verified patient on 3/17

The technician who drew my blood samples was excellent.. barely felt anything. Usually I get the barely trained rookie. Big difference in the level of care by a seasoned professional who is committed to the comfort of patients.

- Verified patient on 3/26

Upon arrival the staff immediately knew something was wrong with me they took me into the examination room right away when they could not find my blood pressure and I was on the verge of passing out every doctor and nurse ran in to help me they called an ambulance I am forever grateful for the prompt response and wonderful bedside manner I would thoroughly recommend prohealth a Little Neck neck

Once again, on very short notice, I was treated with kindness and respect. From the receptionist who quickly and efficiently made my visit the best to the young lady who took my blood pressure and made me feel at ease, I say thank you. The doctor listened to me, set me up with a specialist and made me understand my course of treatment.

- Verified patient on 9/29

It was smooth sailing! My wait time was about 15 minutes, and the Staff was very friendly. The young lady that drew my blood was painless. Good job!

- Verified patient on 8/25

Wonderful young woman who did my blood draw. Don't remember her name but she was so kind and helpful. I was dehydrated so it was hard to get a stick, but she got it done while explaining why it was hard to get my blood as well as being gentle.

- Verified patient on 11/27

Awesome staff. They're humans and did not draw blood! The location and set up is a little ghetto, lol, but still better than other drive-thru testing places.

- Verified patient on 2/2

There was a bit of a wait which is unusual for this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable so it for sure makes up for it. It seemed there was only one person taking blood draws and usually there is 2.

- Verified patient on 8/28

Usually when I have to get my blood taken i get stuck 2 or 3 times. Sometimes even more. The lady that took care of me got it right the first time. I cant remember her name, but she was so nice, and everyone else was to.

- Verified patient on 3/4

I got there too early. The Solv app does not work. I had to re-enter all my information every single time to check where I was on the list for service. Once inside the young man who met us at the door and performed the blood pressure, heat rate etc. was fantastic, as was the doctor on call who checked our respiration etc. Both were knowledgeable, kind, competent and fast. We took the test to comply with reduced isolation/ quarantine. It was a Vacation re-entry Covid test.

Beginning with the parking lot being specifically for vaccine participants , to all of the staff and volunteers , the experience was a positive one . I was very anxious and did experience a racing heart beat and notified the staff ten minutes after being vaccinated . They were very attentive, took me to a smaller room with fewer people and monitored my vitals for about thirty minutes Kay , the EMT with me was very helpful and reassuring . My blood pressure started a bit high , due to my anxiety , but came down within the thirty minutes . I was very impressed by the way that The Swedish Hospital system coordinated.the vaccine clinic

I had blood drawn and thought the health care worker could have been more gentle with the needle. My arm is sore. Never had someone stick me so hard. Other than that she had a nice personality.

- Verified patient on 8/27

I had blood work done this morning and the Phlebotomist ,Edward,is always so nice. Never feel the needle go in and he’s always willing to comfort and make you feel comfortable. The office staff is always so pleasant.

- Verified patient on 10/9

Honestly amazing. The staff were so kind and patient. Desire, I know I spelled her name wrong, was so amazing! I had to get blood work and she did it so smooth and painless. Easiest blood draw I have ever had.

- Verified patient on 11/16

The doctor Jamie, I believe was great. Personable and zeroed in nicely on the key issues of my chief complaint. The person who took my blood needs a review on her technique. After placing the needle in the vain she didn't stabilize her hand holding the needle causing continual pain and slow emission of blood. After 2 viles gave up on right arm and after unsuccessful attempt on left arm had Dr Jamie do it and then there was no pain and no problem obtaining the last vile of blood.

Crissy (still may have misspelled that even though I asked 3 times) took my bloodwork and I was in and out in 2 minutes. Have hard veins got me first time and had a nice talk. Great experience!

- Verified patient on 2/18

Went immediately to JM ER as directed. Had ultrasound on my bladder which was empty so no need for catheter which you had wanted to do but you were out of them so I was lucky there. Another urinalysis and culture performed both negative. Blood tests show high white cell count. Prescribed antibiotics. Still feel terrible, tired, weak, no appetite. Earliest appointment for urologist is next Monday afternoon. Thanks Craig

Everyone was very courteous and professional and handled my blood draw very well. I continue to be impressed with how well this is run. I also appreciate how well the receptionist handled all the patients that came in while I was wait. She is very user friendly and has a great disposition.

I’ve had a lot of blood draws over my years and this had to be the most pleasant, quickest and pain free draws I’ve experienced. I almost didn’t feel the prick which, to a whimp who hates getting stuck, that’s a big deal. And the phlebotomist was so pleasant to talk with. Great job and thank you.

About Blood Tests

Blood tests are used as valuable snapshots of your current overall health and can be an effective way of catching illness or disease early, or measuring how you are reacting to new or on-going treatment. There are a variety of types of blood work with most common tests being complete blood counts (CBC), complete and basic metabolic panels (CMP, BMP), thyroid panels, nutrient tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests.

Each of these blood tests are fairly common and can be performed in a variety of settings including testing labs, primary care offices, urgent care centers, and even retail clinics and some pharmacies. Solv even has clinic partners in the Prosser-area that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait. The tests themselves take only a few minutes and usually are performed by a nurse or technician where they:

  1. Clean the area where they will draw blood from, usually your upper arm
  2. Tie a band to your upper arm to make your veins more visible
  3. Put a needle gently into a vein to draw blood into the attached tube
  4. Remove the needle, then the band from the vein when complete
  5. Cover the draw site with a bandage

Risks associated with blood work are very low, but could possibly include slight pain or discomfort at the draw site, dizziness or even fainting from blood loss, or vein puncture. It’s important to discuss any concerns you may have with your medical provider before the procedure begins.

The collection itself should only take a few minutes, and the results could be ready within a few hours or up to one to two weeks depending on the test you are getting done. Once you’ve received your results, your doctor can discuss them with you either in-person, on the phone, or through a video visit.

  • Is blood work covered by my insurance?

Most common blood tests are covered under insurance plans, particularly when your doctor orders them as part of an annual physical or supporting a diagnosis. If you are self prescribing the test, however, it may not be covered by insurance. If you have questions about your specific insurance coverage, it is best to contact your carrier or your provider.
