I had selected this facility because on the website it said they helped with sleeping and breathing problems, both of which were why I was there. Unfortunately they didn't really do anything, all I got was an EKG and then the PA that attended to me recommended I go straight to the ER for further testing.

Fullerton Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. However, certain groups are at a higher risk and should consider regular testing. These include sexually active women under the age of 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use condoms. If you fall into any of these categories and live in Fullerton, CA, it is recommended to get tested for chlamydia.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often referred to as a "silent" infection because it typically does not show symptoms, making it easy to unknowingly transmit to others. If left untreated, it can cause serious health problems such as infertility and pelvic inflammatory disease in women, and epididymitis, a condition that can lead to sterility, in men. Regular testing is crucial to detect and treat chlamydia early, preventing these complications.
