Accidentally dropped a grill cleaner with a knife like edge. It hit the top of my left foot and made a very deep cut. The blood was gushing out and no amount of pressure could stop it. I went Priority Urgent Care East Haven and was immediately taken care of. They cleaned the wound and gave me stitches. They were very kind and incredibly helpful. They also told me how to care for it. I need to return in 10 days to have the stitches removed and I am looking forward to seeing the staff again.

New Haven Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can contract chlamydia, but it's particularly prevalent among young women. Regular testing is recommended for sexually active women under 25, older women with risk factors like new or multiple sex partners, and men who have sex with men. If you live in New Haven and fall into one of these categories, or have had unprotected sex with a partner whose STD status you're unsure of, you should consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often called the 'silent infection' because most people who have it don't show symptoms but can still spread the disease.
