Everyone was wonderful from front desk, to X-ray tech, to physician. The care was great.  The only thing I didn’t understand was why you have no durable supplies , like ask arm sling, which for the cost of the visit, should have been included.  I would highly recommends Urgi Care to my family and friends.

I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

Darien Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for chlamydia, especially those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sex. Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection that often shows no symptoms, making it easy to spread unknowingly. According to the CDC, it is particularly recommended for sexually active women under 25, pregnant women, and men who have sex with men to get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it is often asymptomatic, meaning it does not show symptoms. If left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, preventing these complications. Additionally, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of the infection to others.
