The online registration was confusing. The appointment time given leads you to believe that you have an appointment. Other than that the staff was very friendly and efficient. Very clean facility!!

My GP retired recently and I was monitoring my blood pressure for a few weeks before going to the new PA.  I received a high reading at the drug store machine and was concerned.  I decided to head over to DOCS and received a free blood pressure check which WAS high and needed to be addressed. I was then seen by the doctor. I cannot say enough about the receptionist, nurse or Dr Marshall.  By the time I left I was totally at ease and had my high blood pressure discussed thoroughly and dealt with and can call if I have questions or concerns.  DOCS is the BEST!

Made an appt online, filled out paperwork and uploaded insurance and id info before leaving home. Time from making my appt to getting my rapid test results was under 1 hr. Very efficient and professional. Thank you!

Nurse at the check in counter was very lovely! Man who administered the test was very gentle and incredibly informative! Best covid test experience I’ve had to date thank you for all your hard work!

- Verified patient on 8/7

This was the easiest and best experience I have had when it comes to Covid testing. Very organized and were ready for me when I showed up. Very clean and I felt comfortable being there. Highly recommend.

- Verified patient on 10/1

My husband and I were both seen and tested within moments of arrival. The doctor was patient and kind and heard my concerns about my family's possible exposure and put me at ease. Test results were available 30 minutes later.

- Verified patient on 1/13

Very nice reception staff member. Doctors were very efficient. Wait time was minimal. One minor complaint was the Covid test results were confusing. Using a small "-" dash next to the word Covid seemed like the results were missing not the final answer. In hindsight, I get the +/- indicator, but I had to go back into the building to confirm the results.

The staff is on top of their game! They have a great system going. The Doctor and his staff are efficient and very nice. So much better than the other place in town I had my first test at. It is 100 times cleaner too

- Verified patient on 1/6

The staff and the doctor are truly concerned for your health. They ask questions and give advice. They are very knowledgeable and quick and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a test. And I do!

- Verified patient on 3/2

Finally a place to go to get tested that doesn't make a giant production of it. Fast and friendly and convenient to people who work and need answers promptly to make important decisions!

- Verified patient on 3/7

Such an easy and comfortable experience for something that could be very stressful. Professional and caring staff made this much better than expected. Than you to all for providing such an excellent local testing center!

- Verified patient on 12/10

Did not get a text for my appointment even though it was past my appointment time, but when I went in and explained this they took care of it. Test was fast, facility is clean and doctors were nice

I am so glad I made an appointment. There was a lot of people waiting as walkins. I was treated with respect and I was in and out quickly. People, get your Covid test. I tested negative. A lot of people were exposed to my grandson as was I. Every single one of us is vaccinated and negative.

- Verified patient on 12/20

Easiest place to get a Covid test. The tester was so gentle with both myself and my 7 year old daughter (who was extremely nervous). Facility is clean and runs efficiently. We spent a total of 2 minutes inside the building, and waited in the car for our test to process.

I had a horrible experience at a different testing center in Danbury. Waited 5 hours for a rapid test. Was told on two separate occasions I would be getting one. Walked in and was told no rapid test. The whole testing center was a disaster. So I went to this location instead. Extremely efficient service. I got the text at my actual appointment time to come in and get tested. Was told to come back in 20 minutes later for my results. I appreciate the efficiency and the organization, it is not something you see at other locations.

- Verified patient on 1/7

Showed up at my appt time on time, waited 1 min to see DR, testing took 20secs, waited exactly 20 minutes in my car for results, went in and my results were waiting for me. Excellent facility

- Verified patient on 1/15

The only thing I did not like which I don't know if this has to do with each other is after having my covid test I had the State of CT calling. I was not informed that they would or would not. Other than that, it was an easy process.

- Verified patient on 9/26

Great experience. I was able to book and check in online. Once checked in, my wait time was less than a minute. Spent another minute inside confirming information and getting tested. Longest part was the wait for the results!

- Verified patient on 1/14

Due to my own scrupulous concern about transmitting the disease if I had ANY cold symptoms and multiple exposures, I have been tested about 10 times in 5 or 6 settings. This was, hands down, the simplest, easiest, lowest-nonsense experience of all. Thank you.

- Verified patient on 1/2

Love how quick and easy this was. Everything was done online. So no waiting extra time to fill out paperwork. No more then 2 minutes after I checked in through the app I was called in and got my rapid test immediately. The girls at the front desk were very nice as well.

I had a 12:30 apt. I git there 45min earlier. I checked in on line and they immediately pushed my apt time up. I waited 5 min walked in, test was performed, dr said come back in 20 min for the results. Class A operation!!

New Milford Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
