Walk in- waited less than 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly. Penny Holley was my NP. She was personable, knowledgeable and got me taken care of. She even went to the trouble to write down some preventative over the counter meds that would help.  When I left they all told me Happy New Year and they hoped I would feel better soon. I give them an A+.

All walk ins were called prior to appts. It was very clear they were clearing the office prior to closing. Do not take appts if they will not be honored. NP was wonderful.

The front desk staff and nurses need to trained on customer svc & bedside manner or need to be replaced. They all have an attitude, act like they don’t want to even “deal” with you, act like they don’t want to be at work, rarely make eye contact. They’re just there. Period.  I’ve come here the last 2 yrs and today’s visit & the one 2 wks ago, this was my experience. Prior to that, the entire staff was perfect- kind, caring, thorough, etc.

Hands down one of my favorite pop-in clinics! The staff is exceptional from the front desk to the provider. I love how personable the women of the office are! I am greeted by name everytime I walk-in! The receptionist even asks about my family from previous conversations I've had with her! Makes me feel at home. Jennifer Dunn is the best provider ever! I feel like she is a best friend in a way! This office and entire staff truly care here. I highly recommend them.

About Ferritin Testing

Ferritin Testing is a diagnostic test that measures the level of ferritin, a protein that stores iron, in the blood. Ferritin levels reflect the body's iron stores and play a crucial role in assessing iron deficiency and iron overload conditions.

Who Should Get Tested

Residents of Marion, Arkansas, with suspected iron disorders, such as iron deficiency anemia or hemochromatosis, may benefit from Ferritin Testing. Additionally, individuals with symptoms like fatigue, weakness, and unexplained joint pain may require testing.

Test Methods for Ferritin

Ferritin Testing is performed using a blood sample. It is often part of a panel that includes other iron tests, such as serum iron, transferrin, and total iron-binding capacity (TIBC).

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Ferritin Testing results involves analyzing the level of ferritin in the blood. Abnormalities in ferritin levels, along with other iron test results, can indicate iron deficiency or iron overload.

Importance of Ferritin Testing

Ferritin Testing is important for:

  • Assessing iron stores in the body
  • Diagnosing iron deficiency anemia and iron overload conditions
  • Monitoring the response to iron supplementation or treatment

Following the Test

After Ferritin Testing, healthcare providers discuss the results with individuals and recommend appropriate interventions based on the test findings. Treatment options may include iron supplementation, dietary changes, and further evaluation for underlying conditions affecting iron status.
