The staff, including the doctor, were so patient with my son. He was upset having to be at the doctor's office and didn't want to do any tests. They spoke gently to him and helped him feel comfortable to receive treatment. We had a great experience at PediaClinic.

My first experience here. Phlebotomist was running the whole show. She was friendly, professional and efficient. The only negative is that I was not able to find the cost for my blood draw anywhere online or posted within the clinic, so I was a bit shocked at the price.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it's most commonly found in people aged 15-24. If you have had unprotected sex, have a new sexual partner, or have multiple sexual partners, you should consider getting tested for gonorrhea. It's also important to get tested if you have any symptoms of gonorrhea, which can include pain during urination, abnormal discharge, or for women, pain in the lower abdomen.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. For women, untreated gonorrhea can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to infertility or ectopic pregnancy. In men, it can cause a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles, which can also lead to infertility. Moreover, gonorrhea can increase your risk of getting or giving HIV.
