I am always appreciative of the connivence this office offers.   Today I had a gentleman doctor and I thought although very upbeat and friendly, I was uncomfortable with the religious questions.  I personally believe there is a time and place, at this appointment was not it.  One, I didn’t feel well and the appointment should have stayed about that.  Two, he is  unaware of my circumstances and that was not the place.  I heard how he had converted, he asked me if I did, and it was very uncomfortable because again he had no idea of my circumstances A suggestion to possibly keep the appointment chatter on a lighter note. People coming in don’t feel well to begin with, any kind of heavy conversation may lead to some awkwardness (and it absolutely did).   Faith, and religion should be off the table for light conversation   Thank you.

The facility on rte 125 north andover was fine once I was seen by the healthcare provider and I have nothing negative regarding the care. BUT the male individual who "sits" at the front reception desk needs to Go. He has zero customer service skills and is clueless and very rude regarding his patient-interaction. He told me "check yourself in over there ( at the kiosk), because I'm busy; so if you don't want to do it yourself, you'll have to wait, because I'm doing something now". I asked what about the other "receptionist" sitting near him. He said: "She's eating, so you'll have to wait; or go some place else". I would like to know who hires people like these? One is "busy eating" [ at front desk] so she can't or won't accommodate checking me in;;; he us busy with "something",,,,so if I don't like being treated in such a derogatory manner by these two morons...he told me I can "go some place else". ! Wow, just Wow. If this is all they can find to "sit" at front desk....I have a suggestion: please have no one "sit" at front desk and get paid for doing nothing. Since there is availability to do self-check-in....then just do away with these two useless airheads.

Book a gonorrhea test online

Gonorrhea and Chlamydia
This test checks for the presence of both chlamydia and gonorrhea, the 2 most common STDs.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it's most common among young people aged 15-24. If you are sexually active, getting tested for gonorrhea and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) is important, especially if you have multiple partners or a new partner. It's also crucial for pregnant women to get tested, as gonorrhea can cause complications during pregnancy and can be passed to the baby during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is important because, if left untreated, it can lead to serious health problems. In women, it can cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which can lead to long-term pelvic pain, infertility, and ectopic pregnancy. In men, gonorrhea can cause a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles, which can lead to infertility if not treated. Furthermore, gonorrhea can increase your risk of getting or giving HIV.

Prevalence of gonorrhea in Boston

In Suffolk County, where Boston is located, there has been a steady increase in gonorrhea cases over the past few years, according to the CDC. This trend mirrors the national trend, as gonorrhea cases have been increasing across the United States.

Risk factors related to gonorrhea in Boston

Risk factors for gonorrhea include having multiple sexual partners, having a partner with a history of any STI, and inconsistent condom use. Social and economic factors, such as lack of access to quality healthcare, can also contribute to higher rates of gonorrhea.

Other STDs in Boston

In addition to gonorrhea, other common STDs in Boston include chlamydia, HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis. Like gonorrhea, these STDs can have serious health consequences if left untreated, further emphasizing the importance of regular testing.
