Scheduling was great. The PA I saw is amazing she is always so helpful. The wait time was ridiculous tho. Waited over an hour for my appointment and to be seen. But after that was given time with the staff.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis should get tested. This includes those who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have been in close contact with someone who has the virus. Additionally, individuals born between 1945 and 1965, healthcare workers, and those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis are also at a higher risk and should consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Early detection can help prevent the spread of the virus to others and allow for early treatment, reducing the risk of liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making testing even more vital.
