This is the third time visiting this AFC location for a DOT physical, every time as a walk-in, no appoinment. The wait time was very short, and after filling out all the DOT required paperwork I was quickly called back for the exam. Then entire staff from check-in, nurses, and the PA were professional and polite, always making my visits here pleasant. I plan to return here for all future exams, and any urgent care needs that may arise.

Scheduling was very easy. I checked in on line and ran to get dress and go to clinic. Staff were ver friendly. The doctor was great and offered more than I expected. I will definitely go there again. I had an ear infection and some cough. They have an x-ray room in the same facility. Dr. Took an xray to make sure my lungs were ok. I.loved the place and would recommend to friends and family. My daughter goes there and she recommended it to me.

I have already left a raving review on Google. I would like to say the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Dr I saw was so pleasant and attentive. She answered all my questions and concerns. She made sure I was well taken care of. I'm in Charlotte for training and went here after reading some reviews. I wish we had this same clinic in Columbia, SC. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff was astounding.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Hepatitis is a serious health concern that can affect anyone, but certain individuals are more at risk. According to the CDC, those who should consider getting tested for hepatitis include individuals who have been exposed to blood or body fluids of someone with hepatitis, have had unprotected sex with an infected person, have shared needles during drug use, or have received a tattoo or piercing with non-sterile instruments. Additionally, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Early detection can prevent serious health complications, such as liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. It also helps prevent the spread of the disease to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until liver damage has occurred, making regular testing important for at-risk individuals.
