Very pleased with the overall experience here. Receptionist was very pleasant as well as the support staff we encountered. Saw Dr. Mary Wolter who was very personable and easy to talk to. She performed a thorough exam and answered any questions or concerns we had. Never felt rushed. Office and patient rooms were immaculate.

Scheduling appt was easy, wait time after arriving was an hour after scheduled appt time. Once brought into exam room everything was addressed in an appropriate amount of time and received results quickly. Staff were all nice but would appreciate if they could update people in waiting room when they are running late and what the expected wait time is for people waiting to be seen

Making an appointment means nothing. They see you when they want to. They need more staff. They are all working double time but there are not enough of them.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from a mother to her baby at birth, should get tested. Additionally, individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or those who have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with hepatitis should also consider testing. It's important to remember that hepatitis often shows no symptoms, making regular testing crucial for those at risk.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is critical as it can lead to serious health issues if left untreated, including liver disease and cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of the virus to others. According to the CDC, hepatitis is a leading cause of liver cancer, making regular testing a key preventative measure.
