The women at the reception desk were very welcoming. The doctor took the time to listen and didn’t rush me at all. I appreciated that she took my symptoms seriously.

My visit yesterday to Roper St Francis Express Care was good. I was greeted nicely, checked in & was called back in a reasonable amount of time. The MA/nurse who took my vitals and 1st interview was nice, kind and put me at ease. I had seen Dr Sara before and I was glad to see her. I felt everything was handled well and efficiently. Even the X-ray tech was pleasant and quick. I am feeling a bit better today!

To the Owner: please remember that your front line people represent your Center as a first impression. If you call and the receptionist gives you a negative attitude bbecause you asked a question that required more than a yes or no answer, she sighs and says "ok, I'll check" you already get the impression that this is not a top notch Center willing to find the the information you are requesting without sounding like it is an inconvenience. Is an online check in a feature you offer? I cant tell. Your web site mention in one ad but not another and your staff doesnt mention it. Your front line people must be equally receptive to telephone and in person inquiries. They need to realize that they work for the patient and family foremost. Also, if you have been referred to an online schedule to see which doc or PA or NP is working, then it should be much easier to locate and it should be user friendly to decipher. It is not difficult to design a simple staff schedule intended to assist patients rather than one designed for staff. Since you are listed as primary care, your patients should be able to find out if "their" doctor is on duty, quickly and easily. With a few changes, your Center could be consistently rated 5's. I have been a nurse manager most of my career so I hope you see my suggestions in the positive light they were intended. A little privacy at the check in desk would also be appreciated by most patients. Thank you for providing space for patients & families to comment.

About Kidney Profile Testing

Kidney Profile Testing is a set of diagnostic tests that assesses the health and function of the kidneys. Kidney Profile Testing is essential for identifying early signs of kidney dysfunction and guiding appropriate medical interventions.

Who Should Get Tested

This panel is especially important for individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, family history of kidney disease, or those taking medications that can affect kidney function.

Tests Included in Kidney Profile

Kidney Profile Testing typically includes the following tests:

  • Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP): Measures electrolyte levels, glucose, and kidney function markers, such as blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine.
  • Urinalysis: Analyzes urine for signs of kidney disease, urinary tract infections, or other abnormalities.
  • Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR): Calculates the rate at which the kidneys filter waste products from the blood.

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Kidney Profile Testing results is based on the specific values of each test component. Abnormal results may indicate kidney dysfunction or the presence of kidney disease.

Importance of Kidney Profile

Kidney Profile Testing is important for:

  • Assessing kidney function and detecting early signs of kidney disease
  • Monitoring kidney health in individuals with chronic conditions or risk factors
  • Adjusting medication dosages for individuals with kidney impairment
  • Guiding appropriate medical interventions to protect kidney function

Following the Test

After Kidney Profile Testing, healthcare providers review the results with individuals and offer recommendations based on the findings. If abnormal results are detected, further testing and medical evaluation may be necessary to determine the underlying cause and develop a treatment plan.
