Great staff! As a nurse of 30 years I was thrilled to find people that seemed to care. Not thrilled with the check in via phone thing but I’ll go back just because the staff was very attentive and listened to my history and knew exactly what to do for me.

I made an appointment for 12:45 and wasn’t seen until after 2. I was told there was a slight wait but when you are sick 2 hours is extreme. The person that finally came in was there for less than 5 minutes  Told Me that they would get me meds ordered and that was it. I probably will not use AFC again for this long wait time

About Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) Testing

Overview

Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) Testing is a diagnostic test that checks for immunity to these three viral infections: measles, mumps, and rubella. The MMR vaccine is highly effective in preventing these diseases, but some individuals may not develop sufficient immunity after vaccination. MMR Testing helps determine whether a person is immune to these viruses, ensuring adequate protection and preventing outbreaks of these contagious diseases.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Port Richey, Florida, and are unsure of your immunity status to measles, mumps, and rubella, MMR Testing is recommended. This is especially important for individuals born before the MMR vaccine was widely available or those who have not received the recommended doses of the vaccine.

Interpreting the Results

Positive results indicate immunity to the respective virus, while negative results suggest the need for vaccination or booster doses to achieve adequate protection.

MMR Testing is important for:

  • Verifying immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella

Following the Test
