Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

I went as a walk-in for a Covid-19 test. There was just a very short wait and I was in and out in around 30 minutes. Everyone from the receptionist to the healthcare staff was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. It was very clean and convenient to get to.

This was our first time using the facility. My wife and I both needed COVID tests. We were treated with great respect. The staff was really friendly and the facility was very clean!!!! Felt really comfortable there!!!

Staff was very friendly. Service and wait time was top notch. Test results are back very quick. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a urgent care. Wish the parking lot was a little bigger but I could use the few extra steps.

I received two wuhan flu (COVID 19) tests. The first rapid test came back positive while the second test came back negative. Even after being told to disregard the first test this created near hysteria with my youngest daughter. Clearly something is wrong and this situation should not be allowed to happen again.

Went in for a Covid test for work. Everyone was very professional and nice. I know I can go to Springfield urgent care and get my test results the next day. I use the Clarkston office and they have always been great.

- Verified patient on 9/19

Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment. Then another 20 minutes for a pcr covid test. I'm sure someone dropped the ball. I have to be tested every 2 weeks and this was my first bad experience. All in all I'm still very satisfied with my overall experience. Have a great day.

I had a 4pm appointment for a rapid COVID test. I checked in at 350pm. At 430 I called to see if I was still “in line”. Yes was response and was told that I would be called in shortly. I was waiting in my car. At 530 I was called to come inside. I was on my way home at 620 after getting my results. Waiting an hour and half for a rapid test with an appointment seemed a little long.

- Verified patient on 11/19

I just went there for a covid test. Wait was long but I think that was to be expected. But everything was handled professionally. If I needed care, I would go there. I was a walk-in

Thank you for your care for me and not a circumstance. Pine Knob Urgent Care would not even let me in the door because I home tested positive for covid. Thank you for common sense medical care.

- Verified patient on 10/20

I was amazed at the front desk staff because they were so helpful and patient with everybody. I was in the waiting are for a long time and was really impressed. Doctor Beckley was professional, patient, made sure I could get my prescription on my way home and very thorough. The young man that did my Covid test was kind and sweet. I was so impressed with everybody there. I won’t hesitate to go back there or drive a friend there even if it’s out of our way. When I got the text from the lab and couldn’t get my results I called them and didn’t hesitate to help me with that either. Thank you so much

Needed to get a Covid test, they got me in fast, very nice. Listened to my lungs and looked at my throat, all was ok. The gentleman that did the Covid swab was gentle and very careful.

- Verified patient on 8/4

The wait time was long but it’s very understandable considering how many people are currently getting tested for Covid. Everyone at the clinic was extremely nice, helpful and they answered all of my questions. 5 Stars!!!

- Verified patient on 4/6

the nurse administered the covid test and the pa who consulted us on it were great however the nurse/tech who initially met with us in the exam room to check vitals wasn’t apparently having a great day... she first asked if anything changed with my son’s chart... to the lay person, we didn’t really understand her question and i’m not sure we answered correctly... she then asked what his weight and height after walking past the scale and height measurement device to get to the exam room... lastly, she didn’t share his vitals with us before leaving but just closed her laptop and said the nurse would be in... i said thank you very clearly but she didn’t even acknowledge my gratitude... as noted, probably having a rough day as the clinic was busy but thought you should know

With all the testing that is happening and the overwhelming work the staff is putting in, the group was outstanding and so friendly. The wait was to be expected just not something we personally want to do.

My favorite place for COVID19 testing. Always quick to make appointments and friendly staff. Wait time is more than I would like, but also understandable with this new world we live in. My experience and all other past visits have always been positive.

Clarkston Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
