Was able to get a same day morning appointment to follow up on a lingering cold. Booked appointment easily online. All staff I interacted with were professional, efficient and very nice. I felt that Sherry, the NP I saw, was very thorough and thoughtful about my diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. Would definitely recommend Carbon Health and thank them for their services.

Had been experiencing jaw pain for a few days and I knew I wouldn’t be able to see my dentist until at least Monday. I was hesitant to go urgent care on a Saturday, I assumed I’d be waiting forever and for jaw pain, they wouldn’t be able to do much. But actually, I reserved a spot online and they took me right away. The medical assistant and doctor were so nice, helped me as best as they could, and sent me home with a prescription that eased the pain tremendously the next day. I’d never been to this location before but I’m glad I made the trip and the next time I need to go to urgent care, I’ll be going here. Thank you everyone at AFC Piscataway !

Friendly Staff

We made an appointment for 9:45 a.m. And did not get called back till 10:30. This is especially tough with a toddler. The staff was friendly. However, I still did not receive the results for my son 's covid, flu, RSV testing and it's been 3 days. I do not see the point of testing for these illnesses if you are not going to call back with a result. I tried looking online and there is no record of the test. I also called and was told I would get a call back and never received it. Now I got to call again to find out what the results are.

It was decent , you could tell I guess the doctor felt uneasy because I was a man maybe of color etc other then that it was smooth

It’s not like your regular doctors office they are urgent care Some staff members are friendly, some are not. This is a field in which you must have compassion or get another job! I do believe some doctors lack medical training and are not sure or misdiagnose your condition Always revisit your PCP

The check in computer machines were too complicated for Senior Citizens and individuals who are not computer savvy.  We had to use several check in machines to check in. The receptionist had to use two machines before she could check us in. Staff was very nice.

Arrived and check-in from the car. Received text advising I could come in. I was assigned a room and then had the test completed within minutes. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Received answers to the few questions that I had. I was provided with an expectation as to when I would receive test results and how they would be delivered.

The staff was pleasant from front desk to Dr but the wait was insane, I sat in my car for over an hour and it was not what I was expecting. Went in for a Covid test which I obtained but the dr never checked my vitals, listened to my lungs or even took my temperature. I had to run out between my test and come back in to see the Dr so it was a super weird experience. The Dr was extremely kind and clearly super busy.

I do t understand why I paid 75$ for a covid test. Are they not supposed to be free?!

I wasn't feeling well. Chest congestion and aches. Low grade fever. They gave me a rapid Covid test and examined me. Very professional and thorough. Prescribed medication. I would recommend this facility.

We arrived on time we were greeted warmly & received immediate care in the form of a rapid response covid19 test administered by a very competent and friendly staff (Nick) followed up by an equally competent and friendly provider who took time to answer questions. We were then directed to wait in our car for 15 mins and then return for results which we did - results were ready and we both left as “happy campers” (in at 8:00 out w/results by 8:45am). This response is for both my husband, Dennis and myself, Marion Whitney.

The wait time was just a couple of minutes in the car. Our nurse Leticia was very efficient, attentive, kind, provided us with all information we asked and administered the test with high proficiency. The PA also was very cautious. We are very grateful to all the staff, including the receptionists. Thank you for this good conveniently located service.

Covid testing. I had an appointment at 9:30 and was taken in by 9:45.People were competent and very personable. They apologized for running late, however 10 minutes didn't bother me.

Went for a Covid test (walk in, no appointment) after experiencing symptoms. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Paperwork was filled out on my smartphone in my car (also signed on Solv APP) Easy enough. APP gave me a wait time and a list of people in front of me (initials only), which updated with a tap of the refresh button. Once inside I found everything to be clean and organized. Dr. and staff all did what they needed to do. I'm overall thrilled with how it went........ and I'm a guy that doesn't DO doctor visits.

- Verified patient on 1/15

I went to Urgent Care because I couldn't get an appointment with my doctor. The doctor that I was seen by was very thorough and professional. She understood my concern regarding Covid. I was given a rapid Covid test and a regular Covid test. She recommended I have an x-ray of my lungs to reassure my concerns. All in all she recommended that I follow up with my doctor for blood work. All in all I was completely satisfied with this experience.

The Solv app helped bring the overall visit and experience a positive. I requested a rapid test through the app. It directed me to the place that's was closest available. I completed the form that was provided. On the day of my visit, I checked in via the Solv app and the employee at the desk verified my info just in case. There was no wait at my location so I was in and out fairly quickly. Really happy with the experience.

Got right into room 7, nurse did my vitals, was very sweet, asked me questions, then dr. came in examined me., was very polite and friendly, gave my a diagnose, told me someone would give me the covid and strep test, I should just relax. A nurse came in gave me the covid test and strep test. It took 10 minutes for the tests results. Dr. came back in to tell me I was native with both test and prescribed a z pac. I think the place and staff are great, and would recommend it to everyone.

East Windsor Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
