Took my daughter this afternoon to get her ears checked for a possible infection from her earrings. The front desk staff were super friendly , the gentleman that saw us before the doctor was as well. The doctor was awesome. My daughter was super nervous and she made her feel at ease. Even asked her questions about her stuffed animals she had which just showed she cared and wanted to make her feel relaxed! Experience couldn’t have been better!!

Getting Tested for STDs in Lomita, CA

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or have a partner who has tested positive for an STD. It's also crucial for pregnant women, as untreated STDs can have serious health implications for both the mother and the baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining your sexual health. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they don't show any signs or symptoms. However, they can still be transmitted to others and can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of the disease to others.
