The receptionist was really nice, but besides that the nurse was really rude in the beginning. She was giving me attitude and the ghetto type. I tried to remain calm because I’m normally the type to give attitude back especially pop back, acting like we in Langley park. 🤨 We got what we needed to get through so they can get me in. The doctor was okay, but was giving me a difficult time. I understand that the doctor was just trying to figure out what was wrong with me and why I came in. I explained to her why and she was just giving me a fuss. I told her that I was worry for my health and needed my blood drawn. I explained why. And she was saying it was not a good enough reason? Besides that, at the end the same nurse came into my room and decided to be nice to me When I told her I was scared of needles cause I was about to get my blood drawn. I don’t really like the attitude from her in the beginning. But besides that I got in and got out fast mainly cause the place was empty and it was about to close.

The nurse was friendly but not at all gentle in swabbing my nose for the pcr test. I let her know how much she was hurting me and I know it could have been done to the same effect a lot more gently. She also told me it would take 2-3 days to get pcr results. I was led to believe otherwise from your web site and the doctor who was very friendly came in after and said we should have it probably 24 hours.

I accidentally sliced off the side of finger and they helped staunch the bleeding and reassured me that no further care was needed. Much better then going to the emergency room. Great and friendly care.

Getting Tested for STDs in Annapolis Neck, MD

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is especially important for those who have multiple sexual partners, or are in a relationship with someone who does. It's also crucial for individuals who have had unprotected sex. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24 and men who have sex with men.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial part of maintaining your overall health. Many STDs do not show symptoms immediately, or at all, which means you could be infected and not know it. Untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of the disease to others.
