The check in computer machines were too complicated for Senior Citizens and individuals who are not computer savvy.  We had to use several check in machines to check in. The receptionist had to use two machines before she could check us in. Staff was very nice.

Getting Tested for STDs in Carteret, NJ

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their overall health routine. This includes individuals in monogamous relationships, as well as those with multiple partners. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as some STDs can be passed from mother to child during pregnancy or childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for a number of reasons. Firstly, many STDs often have no symptoms, especially in the early stages, so you could be infected and not know it. Secondly, early detection and treatment can prevent serious health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV infection. Lastly, knowing your STD status can help protect your sexual partners from infection.
