I had to go in because of an allergic reaction to ivy growing in my yard. I was applying all the over the counter medicine, baths and ointment but was getting in my eyes and continuing to spread. The lobby is impeccably clean, everyone was super friendly and professional. Though it was a little bit of a drive for me, I’m so glad I chose the location. Dr Mark and Meagan were so caring and understanding, my soul started to feel a healing before I even left their facility. Thank you guys so much!

Had been unable to clear earwax out of my ear for a few days and was scared of an infection. Jasmine Laura and a couple more of the nice staff I didn't hear the names of helped me. They never gave up until it was clean even though it was annoyingly stubborn! I was so relieved walking out.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Getting Tested for STDs in Hewitt, TX

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk and should get tested regularly. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV. Regular testing is crucial as many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is essential for maintaining your health and the health of your partners. Many STDs can lead to severe health complications if left untreated, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Early detection through testing allows for effective treatment and can prevent these complications. Furthermore, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of STDs to others.
