I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is wonderful. From the first time I went I felt important, heard, cared for. The staff will answer any question and really want you to get well. Physicals, broken leg, depression, and the flu are all given the same priority. Wait time is 5-15 minutes most days. Busier times during peak hours and peak epidemics. Free wifi. Labs, ct scans, nerve testings, xrays, and sonagrams are available in house.

We have been both insured and uninsured over the last 15 years and have been seen at the local hospital (UHC) and another nearby clinic where our PCP is. Our family's last 8 trips to MedExpress have been mixed but overall positive. Six times they correctly diagnosed the issue on the first try and provided initial care, sometimes resolving the issue, sometimes requiring a second visit or a visit to our PCP instead. The 7th time was a pre-surgery covid test which was handled very professionally although there was a significant wait time. Our 8th visit was negative with our primary concern being dismissed, then turning into an emergency requiring hospitalization 3 days later. Overall the staff has been friendly, straight-forward, and professional. The place has been almost spotless every time. The cost was always near the max they quoted and a method of payment was required up front for the times we didn't have insurance.

Getting Tested for STDs in Morgantown, WV

Who should get tested for STDs?

This includes individuals who are in a monogamous relationship, as well as those with multiple partners. The CDC particularly recommends routine testing for sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and anyone with HIV. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as STDs can have serious health implications for both mother and child.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. First, many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they don't exhibit any noticeable symptoms. Therefore, regular testing is the only reliable way to know your status.
