Was having some serious lower leg pain for several days, they were able to get me in that evening, was seen quickly, checked me out, prescribed me some medication and 3 days later RELIEF! Will follow up with my regular doctor, but now I know where to go if I can't get to my doctor. 🙂

I recently had a disappointing experience at Next Care Urgent Care that I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, the check-in process was marred by the attitude of the front office staff. Their rudeness was palpable and made an already stressful situation even more uncomfortable. Instead of providing a welcoming atmosphere, their dismissive behavior left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. It's unfortunate that the first point of contact at the facility was so negative, overshadowing the rest of our visit. I hope management addresses this issue, as customer service is crucial in a healthcare setting.

I decided to go to urgent care on 120th next to Walmart. The staff were amazing when we got there. I wore an N95 mask to the appt and was being tested for Covid, strep or flu. My tests came back to have Covid. They were so patient with my husband and I. They helped us both how to get through this because of my compromised immune system. Thank you to everyone there and your expertise in treating me. I would totally recommend this Urgent care. They are amazing and take their time diagnosing your problem.

I was having abdominal pain late one night and booked an appt online for an appt the next morning. I liked the convenience of the online tool. When I arrived all the “paper work” was done online so that was nice to arrive and not spend 15 mins filling out paper forms! Checkin was all done on the phone.  I waited maybe 5-10 mins until I was brought back to the room. The front desk and the nurse who came to get me were very pleasant. The PA that came in checked me out and immediately sent me to Skyridge. I was thinking it was overkill for what felt like just a bad tummy ache. However he knew what was right! I went to skyridge and had an appendectomy that afternoon! I did have a little trouble with the app uploading my insurance card. That took several tries. And waiting for the doctor  to come to the room took sometime but overall this place is great and very convenient.

I was a walk-in patient and got right in. Processing was quick. The rooms are clean, the front office filled with sunlight, very inviting. The care was complete and all of my concerns were heard. The PA, Ann Marie, was very good, I will go back again.

I would say make sure the prescription is filled out properly. Upon arrival at the pharmacist, they said something wasn’t right and had to call urgent care to fix the issue. Other than that Staff and Dr was great.

I was able to get an appointment booked online, waited for maybe 30 seconds before being called back. Everyone there was friendly and funny and upbeat, seems like a healthy office culture. Granted I had a diagnosed condition with a positive test result that my regular doctors office had not had time to call in a prescription for, but they got me in and out in about 20 minutes. That's definitely the new record in my experience!

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.

When you take the TB skin test, a huge bump will appear on your arm at the injection site if you have had a TB infection. During your visit, your doctor or the TB test provider will measure and check the bump to see if you have TB.
