Amazing Urgent care! I went today after I fell and hurt my shoulder and hand. I was seen right away by Dianne who took my vitals, list of my meds, and listened to what happened. She later did my XRays. She is so kind and competent. I couldn't get my medals off due to shoulder pain, she took care of that all the while being so friendly, funny and down to earth. I saw Dr. Wison before and after my XRay. He is amazing at his job. He examined my shoulder and hand to see what I was capable of doing, wrote up the order for the XRays and then explained everything to me in a clear and patient manner. The man at the front desk (didnt catch his name) was also very efficient and friendly. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care in Norwood. This is by far the best experience I've had at an urgent care!

Knew I had to be seen for a sinus infection. I booked an appt for first thing in the morning on Saturday. Online checkin for insurance and ID was a breeze. Arrived Saturday, greeted by Mahalia, who was pleasant, welcoming, and professional. I was taken in the room by Desiree, she was knowledgeable and cheery. The whole appt was less than 45 mins ! Great establishment ! Caring people! Very efficient!

My son was sick and I called for an appointment but was told it was walk-in only. I took him to the clinic expecting at least an hour or two. Fortunately as soon as the cumbersome paperwork was finished he was seen in a short time. Online check in seems very long. All Staff were very kind and professional.

I am always appreciative of the connivence this office offers. Today I had a gentleman doctor and I thought although very upbeat and friendly, I was uncomfortable with the religious questions. I personally believe there is a time and place, at this appointment was not it. One, I didn’t feel well and the appointment should have stayed about that. Two, he is unaware of my circumstances and that was not the place. I heard how he had converted, he asked me if I did, and it was very uncomfortable because again he had no idea of my circumstances A suggestion to possibly keep the appointment chatter on a lighter note. People coming in don’t feel well to begin with, any kind of heavy conversation may lead to some awkwardness (and it absolutely did). Faith, and religion should be off the table for light conversation Thank you.

I had a long wait with flu symptoms but I understand that, with many people needing to be seen. My caregivers were wonderful and attentive. The worst part of my experience happened after being discharged. I had a Rx called in at the CVS down the street. I was told it would not be ready for another 15-20 minutes. I went home, came back and waited 15 more minutes in line. I was then told to go to another CVS and they would have it. They said they didn’t have it and to go to North Providence. At this point, I said no thank you. On my way home, I stopped at my CVS and explained what happened to a young man that played high school ball for us (I am an Athletic Director). He later got out of work and delivered the Rx to my house at 9pm. If not, I would have been delayed by hours to get my first dose. Thankfully, I have been slowly improving throughout the day.
