I called in the morning and was able to get an appt.when I wanted in the morning. I was able to preschedule a time slot, which is great! The wait was only about 15 min. Everyone was very polite and courteous. The MD. really listened to what I had to say and didn't rush me. He was very knowledgeable and gave me very good advice! I would highly recommend this provider and Medical Care Facility !

If the staff could cut out the noisy conversations with each other in the back then they could devote more time getting patients through in a more timely manner. Very impressed with Dr. Holly Graber.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

In my 63 years of life, this was definitely the best blood draw experience I've ever had. She got me with one stick (unheard of for me), and it didn't even hurt. This is the first time I didn't bruise afterward. I would love to have this lady as my phlebotomist every time.

- Verified patient on 9/24

My 2 year old needed blood drawn and I also had my 4 yr old and 8mo with me. The nurse, I think Bailey, was amazing. Included all my kids in the experience making them feel special. Precise and perfect blood drawn. I love this lab out of all the UH labs

I am afraid to death of needles. Christy understood that and was very nice. I didn't even feel it she is so good. All your staff are top-notch. From your receptionist to the ones that take your blood they're very nice and understanding. Sometimes I am a hard stick but these girls had no trouble. Please keep hiring the same type of people as you have now. Also a couple weeks ago Jamie took my blood with no problem. I hope the rest of your staff it's like these two women patient and can do a good job as well thank you

I just walk in to get my fasting bloodwork done. I’ve never made an appt. but my wait is always short. Everyone is very friendly and professional. The whole process is quick and efficient. I always recommend this particular location of Compunet because it is most convenient to me and where I always go.

- Verified patient on 11/15

I am always nervous having blood drawn. I’ve had some really bad experiences including almost passing out from a sudden drop in BP. The phlebotomist was confident and focused which made me far less concerned. She asked if I was okay mid way through. She kept it light and stress free. When I removed the bandaid later, I wasn’t even bruised.

- Verified patient on 6/2

Wait time not bad. Receptionist friendly, efficient and made me feel welcome. Technician very nice and hit my vein on first time ( I have terrible veins). Had no pain at all. She noticed I bled a little after stick and ask if I was on blood thinners (which I am). Made sure bleeding was stopped. I appreciate her extra care.

The lady that did my urine sample was amazing and went over & above! She was so friendly & concerned w/patients outlook in the cleanliness of the facility & their comfortableness of procedures. She even went in & cleaned the restroom herself before I went in. I was shocked & commented to her that she had to do that. She said she didn’t have to but was concerned that the restrooms stayed cleaned for each patient going in there as she felt if they were dirty people would be concerned that’s how Compunet was running as a business. She also commented on how she knows some people are apprehensive when getting blood drawn & how she tries to set a relaxed atmosphere & even talk calmly & relaxed when dealing with them etc. This lady truly cares about how she treats her patients and how Compunet as a whole is viewed. Wonderful lady and employee. Don’t find this type of mindset much these days. I’m truly hoping this review is not overlooked but used to praise her for her work ethic & dedication to Compunet. Because of her, it was a pleasant experience and she put a smile on my face & positive experience in my mind!

Wonderful. Last time I had blood drawn somewhere else it took them 45minutes. So I was anxious getting blood drawn today. Christina did it so fast and was so very pleasant. It was actually, dare I say enjoyable. As enjoyable as a lab draw can be. I won't go anywhere else now for draws. Ty.

It was absolutely amazing. I was in such pain and Billy went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and keeping me calm. Billy was also amazing with shots and drawing blood. Zero pain! Dr. Heldzinger as well as the clerk were amazing as well. They could see my level of pain and again went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I will absolutely recommend and be using Physicians Care from this day forward.

The only issue was trying to sign in on the computer pad. I am 65 and had no problem. However I was behind several people (elderly) that couldn’t work the pad. I ended up helping two patients that couldn’t manage it themselves. Two others had to be helped by the staff that was supposed to be drawing blood.

I have been extremely sick for four days now and I have been here several times and I always had a great experience but this time they did not offer to take my temperature or check my oxygen all they did was take my blood pressure The doctor did listen to my breathing and then they give me a shot and the doctor told me he was going to give me some medicine they did not do an x-ray on my chest which is extremely congested and feels like I have a horse on top of me it was late when I got there and I understand they were tired and ready to go home but still yet when a sick person comes in you would think they would take care of them as they would if it was in the morning. I was very disappointed and I am still very sick and will probably end up having to go to the hospital maybe that’s where I should’ve went to begin with but I will not use Sevierville Hospital so I have to go to Knoxville and I have no energy and really don’t know that I want to make that drive by myself. I know you can call an ambulance but I don’t feel like this is an emergency but if my breathing does not get better maybe it will be. I just feel like they could have done more as far as check me out instead of just giving me a shot and a Z pack and prednisone and sent me home. I really just feel like they should’ve checked my oxygen they should’ve checked my temperature and they should’ve at least done a chest x-ray I was just very disappointed this time. I recommend them because it is always been a good place but I’m trying to just make it out as the fact that they close at eight and I got there at seven so they were ready to go home. I tested negative for Covid but not that I want that Q-tip shoved up in my nose but I really don’t think they are testing right because it just barely went up in my nose. I feel like they should do a different type of Covid test if they don’t know how to put the Q-tip in the nasal and actually get a good swab. Just makes me wonder do I have Covid and have I exposed others so I am being very safe at home and staying away from everyone because I am so sick I have no energy and I really can’t drive right now. And I don’t really have anyone to help me because everyone has a life and it’s kind of hard to ask them to stop what they’re doing to take me to the doctor that may take hours you never know. I just thought that urgent care was my best bet because it has always been in the past this time I really just feel like they were done with the day and wanted out of there. If I’m not better in a few days I’m going to have to go to the hospital and I don’t want to. Then I will be exposed to all those germs that has been brought in there. I have a very low immune system and catch everything and anything so I’m scared to go to the hospital but at the same time if I get worse or do not get better I’m going to have to when I really feel like the urgent care could’ve helped me better than they did.

I went in to get bloodwork done first thing in the morning. My wait was short and I was greeted went I walked up to the desk and was told to check in at the tablet. My wait was short and the lady that drew my blood was very nice. Overall good experience!

I don’t like to have blood draws. Can pass out or get dizzy. The young lady that drew my blood took very good care of me and made sure that I was comfortable and that I was doing ok. I was thankful for her and the rest of the staff. Very kind and considerate.

Dr.Allen Wiggers was my doctor about 10-13 years ago. I switched to Cleveland Clinic due to it was convenient. Well my Doctor Josie Zyndarsic ended up leaving to go to Progressive Insurance and she is irreplaceable. My Sister said to me well What about Dr. wiggers and I didn’t hesitate whatsoever. Dr.wiggers did want me to get blood work this morning but I didn’t fast. The lady recommended that I do fast prior to taking the lipid panel. I will be back in a couple of weeks to get the numbers checked.

Wait was 1.5 hours passed my appointment time. Everyone was nice... once i got in, but nurse could have been alittle more enjoyable and compassionate. She stated i had high blood pressure and kind of left it like that...kind of a shock then left it as so till the provider re-did the check...and had more conversation and direction.

I needed a script for blood work, as I have an appointment on Friday. I forgot about asking for it so I messaged my doctor over the weekend. The reply I received was that I had to wait a day or two to process it. Because I had been fasting, I called the office to see if I could get the script this morning. They called me a bit later and said it was ready. I stopped and got it and went right to the lab! My experience with everyone today was excellent. I love Sharon Family Practice!!!

- Verified patient on 10/19

The woman who drew my blood was an expert! I almost didn’t know she had done it! And the person at the front desk helped me with all the minutia that I had to deal with, which doctor to send the results to, looking up the address of a new doctor, signing permission to have the results sent. And all that with a smile on her face!

- Verified patient on 3/2

The lady who drew my blood was friendly and professional. She had me in and out of the seat very quickly and it was virtually painless. Some people can’t find my veins and have even blown my veins making having blood drawn something I dread, but not her! It was a great experience and I believe her last name was Rupp (if I am not mistaken). So THANK YOU Ms Rupp for making something I dread to something not bad at all!!

- Verified patient on 6/29

It was good! The staff out front were a little rude to the people walking in. I think they could be a lot nicer and say “Hello! How are you today?” instead of shouting “Are you here for blood work or the vaccine” right when people walk in the door. I personally think this makes people uncomfortable and a lot of them are older, so they could be a lot nicer to them. The ladies that took my blood were amazing and so nice! They made me feel super comfortable and talked to me the whole time. I absolutely loved my experience with them! Overall my experience was super good, but the ladies in the front need to be a lot nicer and a little more welcoming. This would make the experience so much better :)

- Verified patient on 6/3

I waited no more than ten minutes upon arrival at Compunet. The two phlebotimists in the room I was ushered into were VERY efficient, orderly, friendly, smiled lots, and made my visit most pleasant (I loathe giving blood!!). The woman who drew my blood was "Tina". I failed to get the other woman's name. Hats off to the pair that took care of me this morning! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

About Blood Tests

Blood tests are used as valuable snapshots of your current overall health and can be an effective way of catching illness or disease early, or measuring how you are reacting to new or on-going treatment. There are a variety of types of blood work with most common tests being complete blood counts (CBC), complete and basic metabolic panels (CMP, BMP), thyroid panels, nutrient tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests.

Each of these blood tests are fairly common and can be performed in a variety of settings including testing labs, primary care offices, urgent care centers, and even retail clinics and some pharmacies. Solv even has clinic partners in the North Ridgeville-area that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait. The tests themselves take only a few minutes and usually are performed by a nurse or technician where they:

  1. Clean the area where they will draw blood from, usually your upper arm
  2. Tie a band to your upper arm to make your veins more visible
  3. Put a needle gently into a vein to draw blood into the attached tube
  4. Remove the needle, then the band from the vein when complete
  5. Cover the draw site with a bandage

Risks associated with blood work are very low, but could possibly include slight pain or discomfort at the draw site, dizziness or even fainting from blood loss, or vein puncture. It’s important to discuss any concerns you may have with your medical provider before the procedure begins.

  • Who should get a blood test?

Blood tests provide a valuable look at your overall health and blood work should be done at least once a year. They offer a great way to catch illness or disease early on, or see how you are progressing with on-going treatment. Your doctor or healthcare provider typically orders blood tests for you during an annual physical or as necessary for a specific diagnosis. It’s possible to order your own blood tests without a doctor, particularly for things like STD tests or hemoglobin A1c tests.

  • How much does a blood test cost in North Ridgeville?

Without insurance, blood work typically costs between $50 to $1,000, or sometimes more depending on the specific tests and the provider type you are having the tests performed at. At-home tests are available in most areas and could cost substantially less. Book a consultation with a lab testing provider in North Ridgeville today to get more details on the specific blood work you are looking for.

  • How long do blood tests take?

Blood tests can be performed either in-office or performed on samples that are sent to an outside lab. The collection itself should only take a few minutes, and the results could be ready within a few hours or up to one to two weeks depending on the test you are getting done. Once you’ve received your results, your doctor can discuss them with you either in-person, on the phone, or through a video visit.

  • Is blood work covered by my insurance?

Most common blood tests are covered under insurance plans, particularly when your doctor orders them as part of an annual physical or supporting a diagnosis. If you are self prescribing the test, however, it may not be covered by insurance. If you have questions about your specific insurance coverage, it is best to contact your carrier or your provider.
