Came in for pain with my left shoulder radiating under my arm on my arm and down my left side. Saw Dr.Lynch who was absolutely wonderful.she advised me to get a cat scan and MRI which is scheduled. Gave me a shot and a muscle relaxer started feeling better within a short period of time. The facility is so clean beautifully decorated and the staff were amazing and so helpful. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and knowledge. They have long hours which is so convenient. If I ever need to go to an Urgent Care again it would be here. Thank you

I will say, time and time again, this is my go to place for any kind of testing. I never have to wait, I usually schedule a day or two before and am often seen early due to no one being there. Staff and providers are super friendly, helpful, and extremely quick with what they need to do which allows for less time waiting in the exam rooms. Testing is also extremely fast, I have gotten tests before and then have heard back a day later. Will recommend to anyone looking for quick access to medical care.

I have been to this facility a few times when I have had to take my child in times when her Pediatrician was away. They have taken care of her and even given me a referral so that I may take her to a specialist to further evaluate her. It's not very far from my home at all. I'm glad they are also available after my child gets out of school, since her pediatrican's last appt. is at 3:30, I have time to go to Metro-UrgiCare and feel reassured.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, especially people with multiple sexual partners. Individuals who have had gonorrhea and received treatment may get infected again if they have sexual contact with a person infected with gonorrhea. Therefore, if you are sexually active, particularly with multiple partners, or have been treated for gonorrhea in the past, it is important to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is crucial as it is a common sexually transmitted disease that can cause serious health problems if left untreated. According to the CDC, gonorrhea can cause infections in the genitals, rectum, and throat, and in women, it can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, which can result in long-term pelvic pain and infertility. In men, it can cause a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles, possibly leading to infertility. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, helping to prevent these complications.
