The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood, needles, or body fluids from an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes healthcare workers, individuals who have had unprotected sex with an infected person, people who share needles or other drug paraphernalia, and people who have received a tattoo or piercing with non-sterile equipment. Additionally, anyone born to a mother with hepatitis, or who has traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for early detection and treatment. Hepatitis can lead to serious health issues, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can help prevent these complications and can also prevent the spread of the virus to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not know they are infected, which is why testing is so important.
