I am disappointed this time. The nurse told me it’s allergies and assumed I wasn’t taking anithistimes. Said she couldn’t see bacteria which is not a thing. I can’t hear out of my left ear. Went down the road to legacy ER and sure enough double ear infection and sinus. Will not recommend. Also when I called back I had to call 5 times before the receptionist would answer the phone.

My second appointment. She knows how to aggressively treat my infections and the dangers they pose for someone with RA. I was so impressed I asked her to be my primary.

It was as the most amazing experience I have ever had at an urgent care. Everyone from the front office to the medical assistant and the doctor were kind and empathetic. The wait time was minimal. I would definitely recommend to take your babies there.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk of contracting hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, those who have had unprotected sex, people who have used intravenous drugs, and individuals with a history of alcohol abuse. It's also recommended for healthcare workers and individuals living with someone who has hepatitis. According to the CDC, it's also important for all pregnant women to get tested, as hepatitis can be passed from mother to child during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection allows for immediate treatment which can prevent these serious complications. Furthermore, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.

Free STD testing and community health centers

For those without insurance or who are underinsured, free STD testing and community health centers are available. These centers provide confidential testing and treatment services.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits are also available for those who prefer the convenience and privacy of testing at home. These kits can be ordered online and come with clear instructions on how to collect and send the sample back to the lab.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Anna

While specific data for Anna, TX is not readily available, Collin County, where Anna is located, has seen a steady increase in hepatitis cases over the past few years. This trend mirrors the national data reported by the CDC, which shows a rise in hepatitis cases across the country. It's important to note that the actual number of cases may be higher, as many people with hepatitis do not know they have it.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Anna

Risk factors for hepatitis in Anna are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, use of intravenous drugs, and having a job that exposes you to human blood. Additionally, the increase in hepatitis cases in Collin County suggests that local factors such as population density and healthcare access may also play a role.
