This is my favorite urgent care.  They are so efficient and very caring about your concerns.  I appreciate them all very much.  I had a very bad experience at a Banner urgent care a couple of months ago when I was badly hurt from a fall.  They were very rude to me, both nurse and doctor.  I will always go to Gateway.  Thank you.

Able to schedule an appointment online  with ease. Check-in was made easy by filling out forms ahead of appointment. Waited for 20 min after scheduled appointment time but that is understandable and also made clear when scheduling that it’s an “estimated” time. PA immediately focused on my symptoms, prescribed necessary medications and answered all of my questions. All the staff were courteous and competent. I will not hesitate to return if I need urgent care in the future.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Test
Made appt and waited about an hour after that time to be seen. NP did not seem interested in prescribing meds for my kids who were coughing up brown phlegm and have had audible bubbling/crackling when they lie down. I asked—am I confused? Is coughing up brown not an indicator that they need antibiotics? She confirmed that it is, but not in their case because “they’ve been coughing for so long.” Make it make sense. Staff super friendly and efficient. Will not go back because of quality of medical care.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Getting Tested for STDs in Chandler, AZ

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, have had unprotected sex, or have symptoms of an STD. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV should get tested regularly due to higher risk factors.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good health. Many STDs do not show symptoms until the disease has progressed, making early detection vital. Regular testing can lead to early treatment, reducing the risk of serious health complications. Additionally, knowing your STD status can help prevent the spread of these diseases to others.
